2007-2008 PLAN OF WORK

 

 

GOAL 1

To continue the concept of professional growth

and recognition of association members and students.
Encourage members to participate in professional growth activities.  
 Assist classroom teachers and paraprofessionals with information and resources to meet the needs of the special populations student.
Conduct awards and recognition programs.  

GOAL 2

To improve methods of communications with other

associations and membership.  
 

 

Market the Association in the most technologically advanced manner.

Publish newsletter.

Reinforce PAVESNP's relationship with ACTE, PA-ACTE, etc.  

GOAL 3

To increase membership of state and national

associations and improve services to members.  

Maintain and increase PAVESNP membership.

Promote the association at all related conferences, meetings, etc.  

GOAL 4

To encourage the involvement of PAVESNP in legislation

and to respond as a pro active, not reactive, association.  

Ensure members are informed about legislative matters.

Support Special Needs legislation and funding.
